Spate presents Dogmono, a followup to 2021’s Neuter disc on the Robert Fuchs label. Dogmono is a poetry of body sonics and binary cognitive diminishment, a music brightly colored in its edge and slant-wise motion. Misguided ego dissolution joins an attitude of aggrandizement all along a side street whilst at times a common structure is rendered unlikely. We cast a shadow on clarity.
