Description
Invisible Labyrinth is the first release of Uzu Noir | Ontelo, a joint ambient music venture of Finnish producer and audio engineer Antti Uusimäki and Circle guitarist Pekka Jääskeläinen. Invisible Labyrinth is a musical excursion into liminal spaces and dystopian landscapes. Drawing inspiration from various layers of electronic music, minimalism and free-form composition, the mini album is an homage to artists labeled under the monikers Berlin School and Kosmische Musik of Tangerine Dream, Klaus Schulze and Popol Vuh, and to the musical realms and sonic.
experimentations of Brian Eno, Coil and Jon Hassel.
Uzu Noir | Ontelo took off as a live setup for Uzu Noir’s solo debut ZO!, expanding into a full-fledged recording project of its own at Uusimäki’s Jaespilae Studio. Having previously worked together in the Finnish rock band Circle and other related acts, the studio sessions took the collaboration of Uzu Noir | Ontelo to the level of writing music together.
