Veli-Matti “Läjä” Äijälä, the sentimental crooner also known for his work with Terveet Kädet, bleeds his insides out on this solo album. Minun vereni (“My Blood”) is a heavy electronics work based on lyrics Äijälä had written for Terveet Kädet’s next album, which never materialised. Minun vereni is about banishing the past and purifying one’s self through waves of electronic noise.
