Description

Comes in a 7 inch silk-screened jacket with obi, insert and postcard printed by Alan Sherry. Fuji-Yuki is a Japanese female vocalist known as a member of the ethereal drone pop duo Sarry. She is influenced by ancient music, Buddhist ritual music, krautrock, progressive rock, noise music, and abstract experimental music. Harutaka Mochizuki is is a multi-instrumentalist who dedicates a significant part of his output to solo saxophone performances, following a long tradition of Japanese experimental improvisers that, from Kaoru Abe onward, has investigated this particular musical environment with uncompromising rigour. Michel Henritzi, a long time japanophile, is a guitarist drifting between abstract blues and noise music. He has played with Junko (Hijokaidan) for years, Rinji Fukuoka, Tetuzi Akiyama, Jojo Hiroshige, Masayoshi Urabe and Chie Mukai.
