Description
Hevonen Jammaa grazes somewhere along the western coast of Finland, misty-eyed and peaceful. Their debut album “Hyvästi rauhallinen elämä” (“Farewell, peaceful life”, 2014) channels melancholic seventies folk-rock into timeless minimalistic compositions, drenching everything in a sheet of warm distortion. The Finnish lyrics on the album deal with gaps between people and the impossibilites of relationships. These are songs about stopping, leaving, and wandering, told through the universal language of guitar, drums and bass.
