Second split 7” Skitkids have shared with a Japanese band and, it has to be said, Nightmare give ‘em a slightly better run for their money than Exhale did back in ’05. Seems the Swedes are very much aware of this and have pulled out all the stops, ramping their manic crust n’ roll through the roof to the point where the hardcore is more blazing than ever before and the Motörhead-style rockin’ is just plain off the dial, with ‘Inskränkt å Trygg’ even featuring some ludicrously flash dual guitar harmonising. Couldn’t say that Osaka’s Nightmare are exactly wallflowers either, their bombastic hardcore waging all out war on everything in its path with ridiculously overdriven guitars and frantically spat vocals, sealing the whole deal in such a way that’ll leave you bruised and breathless before it’s even half way done.
