Description

The anticipated second album from the NWOFHM torchbearers proves to be a sour disappointment. The nuclear barbarians are reaching for a wider audience with softer AOR influences, but they lack the skills to pull it off. They are hardly competent enough to “make it big” in a demo competition at the Toijala youth centre. Incoherent instrumentation and vocals weave layers of strangely original music that is not likely to satisfy the friends of metal, pop, rock or experimental music. Steel Mammoth has created a uniquely sincere album that challenges even the fans of the bands earlier work.

“Got me my steel leather & I’m tough enough to loose!”
