To celebrate the end of the Mayan calendar and therefore the world, we reissue the debut 7″ ‘Maailmanloppu’ (The End Of The World) by Terveyskeskus, whose members Tumppi and Otra some people may know from Mana Mana. The band’s brand of fast, aggressive hardcore punk is up to par with the best of the Finnish bands from the genre – Riistetyt, Terveet Kädet, Kaaos – but because the 1st EP appeared in 1987 and not in 1982, it never became the classic it would have deserved to be.
